Why do you charge a mobile service fee? I’m only a few miles away.

With all due respect, a short trip of just a few miles ends up being at least double that distance for a round trip for us—or even more when additional parts are needed—and can take much longer than expected, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

Every mobile service trip involves multiple expenses, including but not limited to:
– Service vehicle
– Vehicle wear and tear
– Additional tools and supplies dedicated to the mobile service vehicle
– Fuel
– Additional insurance for mobile RV services and associated risks
– Safety gear
– Food, water, and other necessities

Mobile RV services also involve significant safety risks and inconveniences for the technician compared to working in the shop. For example, mobile technicians have limited access to essential equipment—such as lifts, cranes, hydraulic presses, and other tools that cannot be transported in a service vehicle—and must work in far less comfortable conditions. They also have no immediate assistance from colleagues and often work in the sun, heat, cold, or rain, without nearby access to restrooms, food, or other conveniences.

Our technicians deserve to be compensated for their time, travel, and the added difficulty of working in the field.

The mobile service fee covers all of the above.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
